Brilliance Cosmocare Raises INR 1.65 Crore for Skin Health Tech

Mumbai-based skin health startup Brilliance Cosmocare has raised INR 1.65 crore in a seed funding round. Founded by aesthetic surgeon Dr. Ashok Patel, the venture focuses on long-term skin longevity and anti-ageing treatments rather than one-off procedures.

The company will direct the new capital toward building clinical infrastructure and advancing its product development pipeline. A significant portion of the funding supports the expansion of the Skin Record data platform, which tracks patient outcomes over time.

Data-Driven Diagnostic Approach

Brilliance Cosmocare utilizes AI-assisted diagnostic scans to evaluate metrics such as skin age, hydration levels, pigmentation, and barrier health. These scans provide the clinical foundation for doctors to create personalized treatment plans for patients.

Dr. Patel emphasizes that the model prioritizes preventive care and early diagnosis over reactive treatments. By documenting skin health over long periods, the startup aims to use longitudinal patient data to guide treatment decisions.

Market Growth and Future Outlook

India’s combined aesthetic medicine and skincare market currently holds a value of approximately $5 billion. Industry estimates project this sector will surpass $11 billion by 2032, with an annual growth rate of nearly 15%.

The company says it has treated more than 12,000 patients. Co-founder Satyapal Chandra said the team intends to establish long-term trust with patients across families and generations.
