Encore AI Raises $30 Million Series A to Expand AI Voice Platform

Encore AI has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round, with Team8 leading the investment. The company will use the new funding to expand its AI voice platform, which helps businesses handle sales and customer support calls. These AI voice agents can work on their own or alongside human employees.

Interaction Mining Technology

CEO Dvir Ginzburg founded Encore AI in 2022 under the name Insait IO. At first, the company built recommendation tools for financial relationship managers. Later, it changed its focus to a broader AI platform. At the center of this platform is a process called interaction mining, which studies past customer conversations to improve how the AI works.

The platform collects information from different sources, including text messages, emails, and phone call recordings. It combines this data with customer relationship management (CRM) software and breaks conversations into different stages.

The AI then identifies the conversation techniques that helped close a sale or solve a customer problem. It uses these successful examples to improve future conversations.

Instead of following fixed scripts, the AI voice agents learn from the company’s best employees. According to Ginzburg, they can even pick up useful examples, stories, and humor that employees use during customer conversations. This helps the AI respond in a way that feels more natural and matches the communication style of top-performing staff.

Company Overview

Enterprise Capabilities and Market Positioning

The platform also helps companies understand how their sales and support teams are performing. It points out areas where conversations are not going well and shows where customers may be facing problems.

This gives businesses a better understanding of where their current processes need improvement.

Encore AI now works with more than 40 enterprise customers, most of them in the financial services industry. Several banks and insurance companies that already use the platform also joined the latest funding round as investors.

Since raising its seed funding less than 18 months ago, the company’s annual recurring revenue has grown by more than five times.

Although major software companies such as Salesforce, SAP, Zoho, and HubSpot could build similar technology, Ginzburg believes Encore AI still has an advantage. He says these companies would need to make major changes to their existing software because their systems were not designed to use customer conversation history as the main source of information.

According to Ginzburg, making this shift would require these companies to rethink how their software is built.

Future Expansion Plans

The Series A funding round also included investments from Planven, Lukatz, and Garage.

Encore AI plans to use the new funding to grow its sales team in the United States. The company also wants to expand its platform across more large financial institutions, building on the strong interest it has already seen from banks and insurance companies.
