NeuralKart Secures INR 2.35 Crore Seed Funding from IPV

NeuralKart, an artificial intelligence company specializing in insurance and industrial safety automation, has secured INR 2.35 crore in a seed funding round. The investment was led by Inflection Point Ventures, a firm that has backed over 280 startups since its inception.

The company intends to use this capital to accelerate product development for its two primary platforms, InsureMind and FieldSense. Additionally, the funds will support AI and machine learning engineering, customer acquisition efforts, and general market expansion activities.

NeuralKart AI Platforms for Insurance and Industrial Safety

NeuralKart operates by building a decision-making layer for risk management. Its InsureMind platform automates insurance operations by ingesting product prospectuses to handle underwriting, claims processing, renewals, and audits. It aims to enable straight-through processing while identifying inconsistencies for human verification.

The second platform, FieldSense, focuses on industrial safety by integrating data from drones, CCTV, and sensors. It uses computer vision to detect unsafe conditions on-site and generates auditable, risk-scored outputs. These insights are designed to feed back into insurance underwriting to create a connected risk-decisioning engine.

Market Opportunity and Strategic Growth Plans

The startup targets the intersection of the insurtech and industrial safety sectors. In India, the non-life insurance industry reported a gross direct premium of INR 2.58 lakh crore during the 2024-25 fiscal year. However, the sector also faced significant underwriting losses, a challenge the company aims to address through its technology.

NeuralKart has already secured paying enterprise customers and reports a 100% retention rate. The firm currently works with general insurers and industrial risk services providers. It has also entered into a co-development partnership specifically for its FieldSense platform to further its reach in the industrial safety market.

The founding team brings over 60 years of collective experience in AI, enterprise technology, and insurance. By utilizing this seed capital, the company expects to scale its operations and enhance its technical capabilities to meet the growing demand for digital transformation in insurance and risk assessment.
