The EV sector is now the most adopting sector that people are fond of. Whether it might be a car or a bike everyone had their eyes on EV with no doubt. Ola in India and Tesla in the world and many companies have already initiated their products to be Global Leaders.
To their Kickstart already EV Charging Stations has been set up in many BPCL Petrol Stations and many more on their way to make it available for all the people. With the increase in fossil fuels due to petrol and diesel, EVs will be a boon for the atmosphere to regain its initial stage with more energy efficiency and less pollution.
Many are in an assumption that EV runs on charging stations but to be more precise there is another category too that a few people are aware of.
1. Vehicles run on batteries called BEV (Battery Electric Vehicles) which can be replaced whenever the battery drains.
2. Vehicles that contain an electric battery and a combustion engine are called PHEV (Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles) and they have an integrated engine and can also be used as an electric battery when needed.
According to statistics and reports, there are currently 5.6 million electric vehicles in circulation around the world. The number of electric vehicles on the road has climbed from 3.4 million to 5.6 million since 2018. According to Consumer Reports, the average electric vehicle battery pack lasts about 200,000 miles, or about 17 years if driven 12,000 miles per year.
Whereas many people across the globe have already switched to environmentally friendly automobiles, Indians are in the beginning stage to see the power and use of electric vehicles.
EV sales rose by 20% in 2019-20. Moreover, Electric automobiles can be charged at home using a system provided by the car manufacturer when you purchase the vehicle. Otherwise, it may be charged while on the go at charging stations located around your city.
In Indian Markets Tata, British MG brand, Hyundai, Mahindra had already launched different vehicles and are ready to launch more into the market.
