Role: Business Analyst – Data Analytics
Job Description:
- Define, Design, Build, and Implement analytical solutions required throughout the life cycle of a Direct Mail campaign, starting from lead generation to product selection to performance measurement.
- Build data segmentation & optimization strategies for targeting profitable prospects with the right product & incentive through Direct Mail.
- Collaborate with Marketing teams on disciplined test & learn strategy, and various initiatives including setting goals & forecasts for the channel, influencing data-driven strategy changes, personalization, etc.
- Collaborate with Decision Science and Capabilities to manage, guide and build analytical solutions and models to improve targeting efficiency through Direct Mail.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Decision Science, Capabilities, Finance, GIO, and CFR to achieve program objectives.
Eligibility:
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science)
- Strong programming skills are preferred. Some experience with Big Data programming languages (Hive, Spark), Python, SQL.
- Experience in large data processing and handling, understanding in data science is a plus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and encourage partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Strong analytical/conceptual thinking competence to solve unstructured and complex business problems and articulate key findings to senior leaders/partners in a succinct and concise manner.
- Basic knowledge of statistical techniques like hypothesis testing, regression, t-test, chi-square test.
